ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Jerry W. Willis was born and raised in Minco, Oklahoma, a small farming community southwest of Oklahoma City. He earned a bachelors degree in Accounting from Central Oklahoma State University (formerly Central State College) in Edmond, Oklahoma.  He then became a Graduate Assistant to Dr. Wilton Anderson, the head of the Accounting department at Oklahoma State Universtity in Stillwater, Oklahoma.  Dr. Anderson was previously the head of the Education Department of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Mr. Willis earned a Master’s degree in Accounting from Oklahoma State University and became a Certified Public Accountant in Texas. Later, he moved into computer Systems Analysis and Design and spent a majority of his career in that field with major U.S. corporations including Embarq, Sprint, IBM, American Airlines and Kerr-McGee corporation

As a youth he was never quite satisfied with the explanations he was given about his purpose in life and how to handle situations and make decisions based upon those understandings.  From that confusion he developed a life-long interest in the subjects of 'Success' and 'Happiness' and how one achieves great happiness in life.  He gathered and studied materials on the subjects planning to write this book when the time was right.

Now Mr. Willis has now moved into the next phase of his life and devotes his time to writing and giving motivational presentations related to the ideas in the book (with other possible working titles The Life of Your Dreams - A PIL for Happier Kids and Parents) and (The Life of Your Dreams - Building Your Life and Career Around the Things You Love Most).  Presentations can be tailored to many different types of audiences!
